Ok, just finished book 6 in the Harry Potter series... I know.... I'm a slow reader. I think I just don't want it to end. So now, it's on to book 7. When I finish, does anyone have a series that they suggest? I'm also reading the latest book from George R. R. Martin, "A Dance With Dragons." It's the latest in his, "A Song of Ice and Fire," series. This guy ranks right up there with Tolkien if anyone is interested. Also, they've recently started an HBO special on the same.

Try "Cirque Du Freak", it is a very good series. If you like that series then you will also like "The Demonata", which is by the same author. The author is Darren Shan just to let you know. The first book of the Cirque Du Freak series is "Cirque Du Freak - A living nightmare".

Ok, 'sob', I finished the Harry Potter series and now I'm depressed.... I didn't want it to end. Lol. Now I'm looking for something else to read that's equally as good. I'm considering the ones you recommended Mike, they look interesting. If anyone else has some suggestions for a good series please let me know.

Eragon was great.... the movie did well so far as acting and special effects were concerned, but they really didn't follow the story line very well. Anyone heard if they plan a sequel? I'll research all the books you mentioned here Fear. Thanks for the suggestions. I've started reading Titan again... an old SiFi by John Varley. This will probably make the 3rd time I've read it. If you haven't read it yet check it out... it's the first in his Gaea Trilogy. The other two books in order are Wizard and Demon.

I'm listening to an Audible Book called, "The Name of the Wind." A fantasy, series by Patrick Rothfuss. It's one of those, "just can't put it down," types. Also, if you guys have a lot of driving time like me, and like reading, you ought to check out audible.com. I really enjoy it. I'll have to add Pendragon to my list, thanks for that suggestion Fear and Mike.
