A guy leaves his beloved pet cat in his brothers care when he leaves the country on a long trip. A few days after he leaves, he calls his brother and asks how his cat is doing. His brother says, "oh, the cat died, sorry bro." Well, this is obviously upsetting to the traveling brother, and he cries and carry's on for a few minutes. Finally, he explains to his brother that he should have broken the news more gently. He explains, "you should have said something like, the cat is on the roof and we can't get her down." "Then, the next time I called you could have said that the cat was still on the roof. Finally, when I called the third time, you could have said that the cat died." The traveling brother complained about this for a while, until finally he settled down and said, "So, hows Mom doing?" The other brother thought for a moment and said,,,, ummmm Mom's on the roof and we can't get her down."
