Interesting thought for a game :p

I personally think it'd be an interesting idea to propose a game like this:
Someone starts us off by naming someone in the clan. That person has to reply to the post or else pay out heavily

For example:
I pick 99 pray (dumb choice cus I know I won't make any money off him because he's a fast responder)
99 Pray responds to my message after 2 hours 20 minutes, and as a result has to pay me 10x140 minutes in gold
Then he picks someone else to name.

It has some value in adding to forum interest because you don't want to let it sit idle and accumulate a mass of debt.
It allows for newer players to visit the forums at least once and see that there's something going on with it.
You could create rules like "No inactive players allowed to be named", but telling players that they're the person next is certainly not frowned upon because some people don't even know that the forums exist, so encouraging players and letting them know they are "next" would help us potentially stimulate interest in the forums, because as we all know, advertisement only requires you to look at the product once (and this would be technically advertising it to our less active clanmates).
Everything is debatable, of course, and I don't suggest the payout is steep but just a little interesting game since you could quite easily make money as well as potentially lose it in this game.

I'm sure people will probably, for the most part, hate this idea, but who knows, it came to mind as an interesting one so I decided to post it anyway.

Or, come to think of it, you could name someone you trust to repost quickly (no using the same person repeatedly by everyone). You would have to give the person above your forum post gp based on how quickly your person replied on the forums, and, although there would be room for people to coordinate posts immediately after each other, that doesn't quite work because you're screwing over whoever named you if you do that.

Might be interesting to have a forum game but instead of a certain amount that each poster has to pay why not make it like a competition. Such as if that person doesn't respond in x amount of time, they are out of the game for the round. The last man at the end of the round would get a certain fixed amount. Only problem with this game is 1. Sleep, I don't need it but most do. 2. Real life, some people cannot hawk the forums like I do or you do, making this game kind of hard for them to play.

two-three days of it isn't gonna break your bank and the monetary amount can be adjusted
not to mention you get to name your next victim so it's entirely possible that you not only make back what you had to pay but also make more

there can be a cap on payments as well, if wanted.

Well people need to start using the forums more before we get into forum games! Only a few people really use forums and post on it.
